University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS), the first IT-based private university in Bangladesh was founded on 7 August 2003 as a non-profit organization. INFORMATION SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION LTD. (ISTS), a concern of PHP group headed by Alhaj Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury is the sponsor of UITS.
UITS added the latest education system to its curriculum to developing the knowledge and skills of the students as well as integrated human values in the education system. UITS is a science and technological knowledge-based center that provides marketable skills for younger generations who may be gainfully employed both national and international organizations.

The University Innovation Hub Program (UIHP), a flagship initiative of the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority (BHTPA), and funded by the World Bank, is part of the Digital Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem Development (DEIED) project. It aims to integrate global best practices into university-led innovation hubs. University Innovation Hub Program (UIHP) is a nationwide program empowering students and alumni to develop innovative business ideas with mentorship and funding opportunities. UIHP started an innovation cohort with selected teams who will participate in a pitch competition after 4-months of mentorship. UIHP is designed to inspire and mentor 3,000 students in their startup journeys. These students from participating universities will go through an engrossing mentorship program that encompasses all aspects of entrepreneurship, ranging from idea validation to product commercialization. Get ready to redefine the future, go beyond limits, create impact, and inspire change. The sky is no longer the limit โ it’s just the beginning!
