INFORMATION SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION LTD. (ISTS), a concern of PHP group headed by Alhaj Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury is the sponsor of UITS.

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the University of Information Technology & Sciences (UITS) conducted a comprehensive meeting with The Dean of Faculties, Head of the Departments and Program Self-Assessment Committee (PSAC) of the Department of Business Studies, Computer Science & Engineering, Pharmacy and Civil Engineering about progress on Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) Accreditation on June 02, 2025, from 9AM to 11AM at the Conference Room, UITS. The meeting primarily focused on the ongoing implementation of the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum and Course Outcome-Program Outcome (CO-PO) attainment. The goal was to equip faculty and PSAC members with the essential knowledge and skills for documenting and providing evidence for OBE components, adhering strictly to University Grants Commission (UGC) and Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) guidelines for the Accreditation process.
Distinguished attendees included Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hashan Bhuiyan, the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of UITS, Professor Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed, the Treasurer, and Mohammad Kamrul Hasan, the Registrar. The meeting was presided over by Engineer Md. Safaet Hossain, Director of IQAC, with Shamima Akter, Additional Director of IQAC, also in attendance. Head of Department of Business Studies, Computer Science & Engineering, Pharmacy and Civil Engineering along with Program Self-Assessment Committee (PSAC) members, actively participated in the insightful discussion.
