INFORMATION SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION LTD. (ISTS), a concern of PHP group headed by Alhaj Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury is the sponsor of UITS.

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the University of Information Technology & Sciences (UITS) successfully hosted a webinar titled “Transforming Outcome-Based Education with IonCUDOS OBE Software” on March 13, 2025. Held in the UITS Conference Room, the webinar provided faculty members with essential guidelines and a live software demonstration for implementing the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) framework. The webinar was led by Platform Consultant Resource Persons from Bangalore, India. The program provided a comprehensive overview of OBE implementation using IonCUDOS, encompassing: OBE framework, software-aided curriculum design, effective delivery planning strategies, assessment and question creation, analysis of Course Outcome-Program Outcome (CO-PO) attainment, and the generation of reports adhering to BAETE guidelines.
Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hashan Bhuiyan, Honorable Vice-Chancellor of UITS, served as the Chief Guest, with Professor Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed, Treasurer of UITS, served as the Special Guest. Engineer Md. Safaet Hossain, Director of IQAC, presided over the session, while Ms. Shamima Akter, Additional Director of IQAC, served as the webinar’s anchor. Distinguished participants included Professor Dr. Md. Ashraful Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering; Dr. Farooq Hossan, Dean of the Faculty of Business; the Proctor; Heads of Department from Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Civil Engineering (CE), Pharmacy, Business Studies, and the Social Science Department; representatives from the ICT Cell; Program Self-Assessment Committee (PSAC) members from nine departments; and forty faculty members. The interactive session fostered active participation, culminating in an open Question and Answer segment.
