INFORMATION SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION LTD. (ISTS), a concern of PHP group headed by Alhaj Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury is the sponsor of UITS.

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the University of Information Technology & Sciences (UITS) ย conducted a workshop on “OBE CO-PO Attainment” today for all faculty members of the Departments of Business Studies, English, and Law. The session, held from 2:15 PM to 4:00 PM in the Computer Laboratory, focused on the practical implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and Course Outcome-Program Outcome (CO-PO) attainment. The workshop aimed to provide faculty members with essential hands-on knowledge and skills for documenting and evidencing OBE components, adhering to the guidelines set by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC). A total of forty faculty members from the Departments of Business Studies, English, and Law participated in the insightful session.
Engineer Md. Safaet Hossain, Director of IQAC, presided over the workshop and delivered an informative presentation on OBE course file maintenance within the framework of Outcome-Based Education. Mr. Md. Hasan Imam, PSAC Chair from the Department of Civil Engineering, presented on the OBE CO-PO attainment program. Shamima Akter, Additional Director of IQAC, moderated the workshop.Distinguished attendees included Professor Dr. M. Rabiul Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Law; Dr. Farooq Hossan, Dean of the Faculty of Business; Syeda Afsana Ferdousi, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences; along with various Department Heads and all participating faculty members from the aforementioned departments.The workshop provided valuable knowledge and practical insights, significantly enhancing faculty teaching effectiveness and contributing to the university’s commitment to academic excellence in Outcome-Based Education.
