Annual Picnic Spring 2025-Matir Maya Eco Resort, Sreepur, Gazipur

The Department of Business Studies at the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS), in collaboration with the UITS Business Club, successfully organized the Annual Picnic Spring 2025 at the scenic Matir Maya Eco Resort, Sreepur, Gazipur .

The day-long event was filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories shared among students and faculty members. The picnic was honored by the presence of our Honorable Head of the Department of Business Studies, Dr. Mahadi Hasan, Associate Professor, along with esteemed faculty members: Ms. Farhana Rahman Sumi, Assistant Professor;Ms. Shumi Sarker, Assistant Professor; Md. Serajum Monir, Lecturer; Arif Hossain, Lecturer; Noor Hasan Mahmud Khan, Lecturer; and Md. Mahadi Hasan, Lecturer.

We also gratefully acknowledge the active involvement of the Business Club President, members, and volunteers, whose dedication and teamwork were instrumental to the event’s success. Throughout the day, participants engaged in a variety of exciting activities; including a football match swimming,ย pillow play, music and dance performances, and a thrilling raffle draw.

The event provided a refreshing break from academic routines and helped foster teamwork, collaboration, and stronger bonds between students and faculty members.

Students gained invaluable lessons in teamwork, collaboration, and event management. By working together on various tasksโ€”from organizing activities to managing logisticsโ€”they learned how to collaborate effectively with peers, faculty, and volunteers. The experience of planning and executing a large event helped them understand the intricacies of program coordination, including time management, problem-solving, and delegating responsibilities. Moreover, the picnic created opportunities for informal interactions between students and faculty, breaking down barriers and promoting mutual respect. Overall, the event not only offered a delightful escape from academic life but also provided practical lessons in leadership, cooperation, and community-building.

This remarkable initiative was successfully led by Md. Hossen Miazee, Assistant Professor and Convener, and Md. Serajum Monir, Lecturer and Member Secretary of the picnic. We also extend our sincere thanks to the Secretary of the Business Club, along with other members and volunteers. Their active leadership and guidance played a pivotal role in the seamless planning and execution of the event.
