The objective of this 144-credit undergraduate program is to provide students with discipline-specific knowledge and technical skills in electronics engineering, communication engineering, application specific knowledge in telecommunication sectors, to develop them to become efficient and skilled engineers in networking, computers and information technology and above all: produce morally upright graduates for nation. The graduates will be able to analyze, design, implement, maintain and manage the telecommunication systems and business in telecom sectors. The program is highly recommended for the students who wish to obtain technical as well as engineering management positions in the telecommunication industries. In this course, the students will complete the core subjects in professional communications and engineering workplace practice, innovation and design, advanced laboratory, and research methods. This course delivers expert skills and applied competencies required for a professional engineer in the field of telecommunication.

The expanded fields of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) play vital roles in the progress of the country. Admission Requirements

Minimum 2nd division in both SSC and HSC with science background or five subjects in O – level and 3 major subjects (Math, Physics and Chemistry) in A – level education are required. The students who have completed under GPA system will have to have a minimum GPA of 2.5. The O- and A- level students must have an average grade of ‘B’. Students having Diploma Engineering with CGPA 2.5 on the scale of 4.0 or minimum second division in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Science / Telecommunication / Data Telecommunication & Networking / Power / Mechanical are eligible for admission with wavers in some courses as per decision of the departmental equivalence committee. It should be noted that university does not allow GED for any program. But the total exempted credits must not be more than 13.0 (thirteen) credits. The applicant must pass the admission test (Physics, Mathematics and English) arranged by the University.
