INFORMATION SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION LTD. (ISTS), a concern of PHP group headed by Alhaj Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury is the sponsor of UITS.

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the University of Information Technology & Sciences (UITS) hosted a seminar on “Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE) Program Evaluation” on March 20, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM held in the Conference Room, the seminar attracted over sixty faculty members from the six departments within the Faculty of Science & Engineering.
Professor Dr. Md. Ashraful Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Science & Engineering, delivered an insightful address about Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education. Heads of Departments and faculty members from different departments also provided valuable contributions. Engineer Md. Safaet Hossain, Director of IQAC, presided over the seminar and welcomed the participants with a speech on the importance of BAETE Accreditation.
The program featured presentations by faculty members. Md. Tarikul Islam, Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering, addressed “Complex Engineering Problems & Complex Engineering Activities in Engineering Programs for Outcome Based Accreditation (OBA).” Al-Imtiaz, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, presented on “BAETE Program Evaluation.” Ms. Shamima Akter, Assistant Professor and Additional Director of IQAC, served as the anchor for the seminar.
