Ms. Nadia Shabnam

  LL.B ( Honors) and LL.M from University of Dhaka in 2004 and 2005 respectively.

She has participated two day teaching seminar on legal responses to terrorism organized by faculty of Law at university of Dhaka from 27 to 28th July 2008.She has also participated two day workshop on OBE (Outcome Based Curriculum) organized by University Grant Commission from 12 to 13th June,2022.
Her areas of interest include Human rights, Womenā€™s Rights, Child rights, juvenile justice, and comparative legal systems.

Nadia Shabnam is an Assistant Professor of  Department of Law at University of  Information Technology and Sciences  (UITS) . She is currently involved with the Academic committee, Planning Committee,Cultural Committee and Question Moderation committee of department of Law at UITS. She is also a member of Academic Council at UITS. During her lectureship at SUB, she was the course coordinator of Dept. of Law and worked as a supervisor of research works of senior LL.B (Hon’s) students. She is a regular supervisor of the research works of Law students at UITS.She joined UITS Research Center as Research Fellow from 2014 to till.She was a former Assistant Proctor in UITS.She is involved in Law Department Debating Club.
