Spiritual Harmony: Iftar and Dua Mahfil pogram-2025, Department of Business Studies, UITS

Alhamduillah, On Sunday, March 16, 2025 the department of Business Studies hosted a grand Iftar Mahfil at PHP square of UITS with bringing together a wonderful gathering of over 150 students, dedicated faculty members, and UITS staff. The evening was filled with warmth, unity, and the spirit of togetherness. The event was jointly organized by the UITS Business club and Department of Business Studies, with generous support from the respected Dean of the Faculty of the Business.
The vibrant ceremony was graced by the Head of Business Studies Department Dr. Mahadi Hassan, Associate Professor, along with other distinguished faculty members. The event was convened by Md. Hossen Miazee, Assistant Professor, and the Member Secretary Arif Hossain, Lecturer Department of Business Studies.
The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Kutub Uddin Nahid (batch 55), setting a peaceful and spiritual tone for the evening. Following the recitation, a brief Islamic discussion was held, where Md. Serajum Monir Lecturer Department of Business Studies, spoke about the significance of fasting, the virtues of Ramadan, and the power of dua. Attendees reflected on the messages of patience, gratitude, and generosity.
As the time for Maghrib prayer approached, guests gathered for iftar, breaking their fast with dates, fruits, and traditional Ramadan dishes. After the iftar, everyone performed Maghrib Salah together, followed by a special Dua Mahfil. The event concluded with words of appreciation from the organizers, thanking all attendees for their participation and support in making the gathering a blessed and memorable one.

The events success was made possible by the tireless efforts and unwavering dedication of Business Club volunteers, especially in Club President, Member Sectary and other members whose selfless service added to the beauty and harmony of the evening. It truly feels like a family where the Business Club and the Department of Business Studies are deeply connected, just like blood and veins.
