University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS), the first IT-based private university in Bangladesh was founded on 7 August 2003 as a non-profit organization. INFORMATION SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION LTD. (ISTS), a concern of PHP group headed by Alhaj Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury is the sponsor of UITS.
UITS added the latest education system to its curriculum to developing the knowledge and skills of the students as well as integrated human values in the education system. On December 17, 2024, the Department of Business Studies witnessed a wonderful presentation session by the students of BBA 51 Batch (Marketing Major). The presentation was on their learning experience through the recent Industrial Tour at Meghna Ceramic Industries Ltd. The session was graced by the presence of Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Abu Hashan Bhuiyan, Honorable Treasurer Prof. Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed, Honorable Dean of Faculty of Business Dr. Farooq Hossan, respected Assistant Professors of Marketing Ms. Shamima Akter and Ms. Nadia Nowsin.
The session started with the welcome note by the Honorable Dean, Faculty of Business. He extended his gratitude to the honorable guests for their valuable time. He also appreciated the efforts of the students and the organizer of the industrial tour Ms. Nadia Nowsin for arranging such an impactful session.
The Honorable Treasurer and Honorable Vice Chancellor of UITS delivered their valuable speeches respectively and highly encouraged the students.
The presenters of the session were Ms. Eshita Akter, Md. Aminur Islam and Md. Rabby Hossain on behalf of the batch. They shared their whole learning experience throughout the Industrial Tour at Meghna Ceramic Industries Ltd.
The session was hosted by Ms. Nadia Nowsin who expressed her sincere gratitude to all the honorable guests and the students. The session successfully ended with some clicks of pictures and some refreshments arranged by the students of BBA 51 Batch (Marketing Major).
