UITS hosts Seminar on “Motivation and Importance of Research for Teachers”

The University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) organized a seminar on “Motivation and Importance of Research for Teachers” on May 21st, 2024. The event, held at the UITS Conference Room, brought together faculty members to explore the value of research in their professional development. The keynote speaker of the seminar was honorable Vice Chancellor of UITS Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hasan Bhuiyan. Professor Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed, Treasurer of the University, and Dr. Md. Ashraful Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering, was also present. Additionally, the Director of IQAC, Heads of the Departments of Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Pharmacy, and the Advisor of Student Welfare at UITS graced the event. A total of 80 faculty members from these departments actively participated in the seminar.

Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hasan Bhuiyan, the Honorable Vice Chancellor of UITS, delivered the keynote address. He emphasized the crucial role of research collaboration in fostering innovation within the educational sphere. Dr. Bhuiyan outlined the significance of both basic and applied research, not only in expanding knowledge but also in tackling real-world challenges.
