INFORMATION SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION LTD. (ISTS), a concern of PHP group headed by Alhaj Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury is the sponsor of UITS.

The University of Information Technology & Sciences (UITS) Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) conducted a meeting on Implementation of OBE with the Department of Law on November 27, 2024, to guide the Department of Law on the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE). The meeting held in the UITS Conference Room, aimed to equip all the faculty members of Department of LAW and Program Self Assessment Committee (PSAC) members with the necessary knowledge and skills to implement Outcome Based Education curriculum.
Distinguished guests included Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hashan Bhuiyan, Vice-Chancellor of UITS, as Chief Guest, Professor Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed, Treasurer of UITS, as Special Guest, and Mohammad Kamrul Hasan, Registrar of UITS. Engineer Md. Safaet Hossain, Director of IQAC, chaired the meeting and presented on the Bangladesh Accreditation Council Accreditation Process, the Bangladesh National Qualification Framework (BNQF), and the OBE implementation process. Shamima Akter, Additional Director of IQAC, served as the moderator. Dr. Md. Nahidul Islam, Associate Professor and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Mst. Ayesha Siddika, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department, discussed the specific aspects of OBE implementation for the accreditation of academic programs.The meeting successfully concluded with an overview for the Department of Law to implement OBE and enhance the quality of its academic programs.
