INFORMATION SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION LTD. (ISTS), a concern of PHP group headed by Alhaj Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury is the sponsor of UITS.
UITS added the latest education system to its curriculum to developing the knowledge and skills of the students as well as integrated human values in the education system. Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized Symposium with Visiting Professors UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA PERLIS on 26th October, 2023 (Thursday) from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at Ratnagarbha Tahmina Rahman Multipurpose Hall, University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS). All the Faculty Members of the Department of English, Social Work, LAW, Business Studies, CSE, IT, EEE, ECE, Pharmacy and Civil Engineering participated in the Symposium topic “OBE, RESEARCH & INNOVATION” with a delegation of three (3) Visiting Professors UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA PERLIS. Honorable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hashan Bhuiyan graced the Symposium as the Chief Guest with his valuable address and Treasurer Professor Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed attended as a Special Guest and Registrar, Mohammad Kamrul Hasan, Dean of Faculties, Heads of the Departments and more than 100 faculty members participated in the interactive session. Engineer Md. Safaet Hossain, Director, IQAC, UITS moderated the Symposium with Visiting Professors.
The delegation of three (3) visiting professors from UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA PERLIS conducted enlightening lectures, captivating seminars, and valuable interactions about Outcome Based Education and Research & Innovation with a wide range of topics. Additionally, the symposium led to three sessions lasting impact on students and faculty alike fostered a culture of collaborative learning and research. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the delegation of Visiting Professors UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA PERLIS at UITS.
