A workshop entitled “Addressing Complex Engineering Problem through Capstone Project” – Department of CE, UTIS

A workshop entitled “Addressing Complex Engineering Problem through Capstone Project” organized by the Civil Engineering Department of the University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS), took place on Monday, 1st April 2024 at the Conference room of UITS. The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Sheikh Mokhlesur Rahman, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, BUET and Additional Director, IQAC, BUET.
Honorable Vice Chancellor of UITS Professor Dr. Md. Abu Hasan Bhuiyan, Treasurer of the University Professor Dr. Siraj Uddin Ahmed, and the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering Dr. Md. Ashraful Islam were also present in the workshop.
The Head of the UITS Civil Engineering Department Associate Professor Dr. Nur Mohammad Shuman, Director of IQAC, UITS Engr. Md. Safaet Hossain, Head of the Department of CSE Mr. Al-Imtiaz, Advisor of Student Welfare of UITS Md. Tarikul Islam, Additional Director of Research Center Dr. Mst. Muslima Zahan, Assistant Professor Aysha Akter, Assistant Professor Md. Hasan Imam, Assistant Professor Saraban Tohora, Assistant Professor Md. Mohiuddin Ahmed, Assistant Professor Dipa Sarker, Lecturer Subrata Roy, Lecturer Rizvan Ahmed Rafsan, Lecturer Afrad Ibn Harun, Lecturer Nafisa Anjum Rimi and Lecturer Hosneara Begum were also present at the workshop.
Attending this workshop, the participants learned about the insights of complex engineering problems and capstone projects which are very fundamental for the accreditation of different engineering programs.
Students from the Civil Engineering Department actively participated in this workshop.
